Overview

This project involved creating a responsive, user-friendly website for a non-profit. The goal was to present their mission clearly and encourage donations from the public while honoring the stories of veterans they serve.

Challenge

The organization had no digital presence. They needed a clean, trustworthy website that would work well for any audience, display quilts and veteran stories, and make online donations easy. They also needed something they could maintain themselves with minimal tech skills.

Process

I began with a discovery call to understand their mission and audience. I used Divi to build the site visually so they could make simple edits later. I implemented responsive layouts, created a donation section using a third-party plugin, and added custom PHP and CSS to fine-tune the experience.

Tools Used

  • WordPress + Divi
  • Custom CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Responsively App for testing

Client Impact

The organization now has a more professional web presence and an easier donation process. The team cam now confidently edit their site using the framework I created.

Testimonial

"We developed a great partnership with Brick & Code Web Design. Their dedication to our non-profit website is evident in all aspects of the site. We appreciate their attention to detail and creative approach to bringing our non-profit to life online. Attention to detail in setting up the nomination form and donation page was second to none."
